Travel vouchers are available at any one of 400 resort locations around the world through Bartercard, the world’s largest trade exchange. Established 19 years ago in Australia, the company boasts 55,000 members in 12 countries around the world. (The largest number of members are located in Australia, 23,000 members.)

Bartercard is now publishing a quarterly magazine, b.savvy, for its worldwide membership base. On the company’s web site, Bartercard you can view the issue’s in a PDF format.

One of the stories in the most recent issue reported on an Australian Bartercard member who acquired thousands of weeks of four and five star accommodation vouchers from a Thai member in a deal worth T$5.1 million.

The vouchers are valid for three years and can be used at any one of 400 resort locations around the world. Vouchers can be purchased with Trade Dollars online at Xclubtravel.

The deal is one of the largest in 15 years of Bartercard trading history and reportedly the Thai member is expected to invest his Trade Dollars into a large property development in Thailand.
