Restaurateur Uses Barter To Buy Merchandise For New Clothing Catalog

There’s more than one way to make a dollar! That’s what a Southern California restaurant owner is proving. He’s put out a four-page, four color catalog offering his restaurant’s logo on jackets, windbreakers, hats, T-shirts, aprons, watches and more.

Some of the items are acquired on barter through their trade exchange, in exchange for restaurant scrip.

For more ideas on how restaurant owners use barter see the BarterNews restaurant section

Here is a recent email we received from Molly Purcell of the Barter Business Exchange, Inc.

Dear Bob,

Thank you for all of your information. I have signed on two restaurants since I have started reading over the restaurant section. I really appreciate your efforts.

Best Regards,
Molly Purcell
