More and more, companies today are forging “partnerships” with customers and suppliers, because business today is moving from the transaction era to the relationship era.

And why not? Competitors and cooperation are merely two aspects of the same wealth-creation process.

In the book Co-Opetition business is identified as cooperation when it comes to creating a pie, and competition when it comes to dividing it up.

The mantra of business used to be “location, location, location.”  Now it’s “connection, connection, connection.”
