Barter Site For Trading Domain Names & Websites
July 26th, 2007 · by Bob Meyer · 1 CommentSwapNames is a newly launched free marketplace for trading domain names and websites.
With SwapNames, domain name owners can search out domains of interest, offer their own domains to swap, and receive barter offers from other domain owners. Additionally, the site acts as a domain name marketplace where users have the option of buying or selling valuable e-properties. All listings on SwapNames have both a fixed selling price and a trade value, which creates valuable exposure to easily market and sell or trade domains.
Presently, there are no open, ‘free-for-all’ marketplaces just for domain name barter trading. All other domain name marketplaces are either auction houses or ‘for sale listing’ sites. With the launch of SwapNames, the domain name industry now has its very own barter trading portal.
SwapNames was founded by a Malaysian-based domain investor and entrepreneur, Koay Al Vin. SwapNames, Inc was incorporated in Delaware, USA and operates from a tiny, but beautiful, island in Malaysia called Penang.
For more information on SwapNames see: Swap
One other virtual property founded also by Koay is DNHour.com, another industry’s first. It is a DIGG-style domain industry news portal. Hour

Hello Fellow Barter Members from around the world.
My name is Chris Hill and we operate a cottage rental in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada.
For those who don’t know we are, we are 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
We have been bartering our Wishing Well Historical Cottage Rental and Spa at www.wishingwellcottage.com for the past 17 years and have been very successful in using our barter dollars in the process.
We love trade and have great experience using it to build our business, by keeping the cash in our pockets to pay for necessary everyday expenses.
Our trade is used to pay the bookkeeper, web designer, office assistant, booking agents, in fact even our tradespeople.
I am always looking for more tips on how to build my busines using trade.
I look forward to any ideas you may want to share with me. Our email is chris.sales2@bluetie.co
