IRTA Barter Video Shows “How To Profit By Using Your Excess Capacity”
September 18th, 2007 · by Bob Meyer · No CommentsThe International Reciprocal Trade Association completed an industry video and unveiled it to attendees at the recently completed IRTA Convention, held in Savannah, Ga., September 9-11. I recently reviewed the video and can attest to its professional presentation. Generic in nature, it will be a tremendous tool for educating the business marketplace,
A little history on this effort…
Last year the IRTA Global Board of Directors approved “Operation Outreach,” a far-sighted 3-point plan to better educate the business and financial communities about the extraordinary commercial benefits the barter industry has to offer.
The 3-point plan/program will include: Weekly press releases. An IRTA produced educational video presentation. And a curriculum developed to be offered in business schools, colleges and universities.
IRTA Video Presents Unified Message About The Commercial Barter Industry
The 8.5 minute DVD is titled, “How To Profit By Using Your Excess Capacity,” and is presented in English. It will also be translated into other languages.
The video will be presented by IRTA member exchanges to local business groups, trade shows, Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, etc. for the purpose of education and sales lead generation. (In as much as local business business groups are always looking for brief business-oriented presentations, the use of this video represents a unique opportunity for trade exchanges to educate and generate sales leads in their local business community.)
And many ITRA member exchanges will find it to be a powerful direct sales piece during one-on-one sales presentations.
Additionally, worldwide, the video production will be presented by industry leaders to larger national and international business groups and conventions.
