Gifts.com, an operating business of IAC/InterActive Corp., has acquired GiveFun.com, an online gift certificate provider. As a result of the acquisition, GIFTS now offers the Gifts.com Gift Card, an emailable gift certificate. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In the September 25 and October 2 issues of The Tuesday Barter Report (see right-hand column, scroll down to “Top Resources” to read current Tuesday Barter Report and all back issues, found at bottom of current report) we published articles on the gift certificate business.

In the October 2 issue we published comments from Mike Kelly, CEO of SWAPAGIFT a company that offers a barter service for gift card trading.
