He will offer a treasury of fascinating facts about our American presidents: their feats, fates, families, foibles, and firsts. You’ll have fun learning a lot about our presidents’ lives, their accomplishments, and their roles in American history.
Richard Lederer is the author of more than 30 books about language, history and humor, including his best-selling Anguished English series and his current book, Presidential Trivia: the Feats, Fates, Families, Foibles, and Firsts of Our American Presidents. Dr. Lederer’s syndicated column, “Looking at Language,” appears in newspapers and magazines throughout the United States.
He has been elected International Punster of the Year and been profiled in magazines as diverse as the New Yorker, People, and the National Enquirer, and he is Verbivore Emeritus on public radio’s “A Way With Words.”
Richard Lederer has been named Golden Gavel winner by Toastmasters International and Celebrity in Action by the San Diego Foundation for Educational Achievement.
