Car Mileage (Deductions) Rates To Rise In 2008

December 26th, 2007 · by Bob Meyer · No Comments

Good news from the IRS for 2008, especially given a slowing economy which will see the need for more “hustling & effort”…Beginning January 1 the standard mileage rates (deductions) for the business use of a car, van, or panel trucks will rise from the current 48.5 cents per mile to 50.5 cents per mile.

The new rate for medical and moving purposes will be 19 cents per mile driven, down from the 20 cents per mile in 2007.

The deduction rate for miles driven in service of charitable organizations has remained the same.

Give off on a fast track this year with a razor-like focus on your barter efforts. The BarterNews FastStart Barter Program will show you the way, see: FASTSTART
