The IRTA Global Board of Directors has unanimously approved one year contracts for the International Reciprocal Trade Association’s (IRTA) Executive Director Ron Whitney and IRTA Administrator and Universal Currency Broker Jennifer Ashworth.

“IRTA and UC are now well positioned to achieve their 2008 goal of increasing overall membership and UC trading volume” said IRTA President David Wallach.
“We are very pleased with both Ron and Jennifer. They have set records for IRTA membership and UC trading volume and provide real and measurable benefits to IRTA and UC Members. The work Ron is doing with the United States IRS has resulted in numerous member exchanges receiving abatements of penalties for non-matching TIN issues that they may not have otherwise received.”

IRTA is a global organization that self regulates and represents the modern trade and barter industry worldwide.

The stated mission of IRTA is to provide industry members with an ethics-based global network for the advancement of trade and alternative capital systems through on-going education, self-regulation, standards, development and governmental relations.
