Do Pro Athletes Really Score In The Restaurant Business?
January 17th, 2008 · by Bob Meyer · No CommentsMany star athletes have been involved in the restaurant business. There is something enchanting about restaurants, until you own one, or so I’m told. (Like most things it’s different than one’s outside perception of it.)
Often the star players trade (barter) on the use of their fame (name) and get a piece of the restaurant ownership without investing any money.
It’s interesting to read the comments of the players regarding their restaurant ownership experiences. To see what Michael Jordan, Brett Farve, Larry Bird, Jim McMahon, Joe Theismann, and others have to say, see:StarAthletes
BarterNews has written a “restaurant Report” that goes into the specifics on why barter is a must for a restaurant owner, see: Report
