It doesn’t matter where you live or what you do. You can use what you have to get what you want through barter. A strawberry farmer shared his considerable bartering success with Mother Earth News. A very enlightening story on the many options he pursued…

He traded cases of strawberries for fertilizer…greenhouse glass and radio promotions. With 50 acres of woods (what he refers to as a virtual goldmine) he traded wood for woodstoves, furnaces and fireplaces…doctor fees…hogs…and cows.
