What Do U.S. CEO’s Think Of The Economy?
February 23rd, 2008 · by Bob Meyer · No CommentsAccording to a Business Council survey almost two-thirds of 83 CEOs surveyed said conditions in their businesses had worsened in the last six months. Slightly over half, or 53% of those surveyed expect those conditions to weaken further in the next six months.
Some 81% of the CEOs expected sluggish economic growth of 0% to 2% this year.
Other News Reinforcing Belief In Economic Climate Worsening
Subprime delinquencies have topped the 4% level for the first time since 1997, reaching 4.03% in January. And auto loans that are at least two months delinquent hit a 10-year high in January also.
