What Do U.S. CEO’s Think Of The Economy?

According to a Business Council survey almost two-thirds of 83 CEOs surveyed said conditions in their businesses had worsened in the last six months. Slightly over half, or 53% of those surveyed expect those conditions to weaken further in the next six months.

White Shares ITEX Barter Company Information

Yesterday ITEX CEO Steven White made a presentation at the Roth Capital Partners 20th Annual Growth Stock Conference in Laguna Niguel, California. He described ITEX’s current operations and business initiatives.

Corporate Leasing Benefits From Economic Stimulus Plan

The new Economic Stimulus Plan signed last week by President Bush, could have the effect of lowering lease rates for corporate borrowers as leasing companies pass on the benefits to their customers.

A provision included in the stimulus plan was “Bonus Depreciation” a term used to describe accelerated depreciation of purchased equipment that exceeds $250,000. The main benefit of this provision is to give businesses an opportunity to accelerate the depreciation of a large purchase.
