v Direct mail to specific geographic or demographic markets.

v Telephone calls or visits to targeted potential customers.

v Trade shows that attract your most probable customers.

v World Wide Web sites.

v Sales representatives.

v Listings, ads or publicity in trade or other targeted publications.

v Business and professional organizations.

v Public records of new companies moving to town.

v People and companies that have done business with you previously.

v Referrals from existing clients.

v Referrals from professional or government entities.
