And when you consider that trade dollars are earned at your variable cost-of-doing business, there is simply no comparison (profit-wise) between these two ways of making a purchase.

Years ago I was buying names & addresses on barter and paying the list broker less, CPM, than other brokers cash charges.
Moral of the story–if you are a small business owner and not involved in bartering your services, you are leaving a lot of profits (money) on the table.
