IMS Barter Looks To Build Powerful Network In The Big Apple
April 5th, 2008 · by Bob Meyer · 1 CommentInternational Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTCBB:INLM), has exercised its option to purchase New York Commerce Group (NYCG), formerly known as Barter Advantage.
Back in September of 2006, Don Mardak, CEO of International Monetary Systems, aka IMS Barter, entered into an option agreement to acquire the assets of NYCG, aka Barter Advantage. The companies have operated as affiliates working under a revenue-sharing arrangement prior to the completion of the option.
The transaction, according to Mardak, gives IMS a solid base of clients in New York City. With a new office in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, IMS will now launch a dynamic expansion program to create a powerful barter network in the Big Apple.
Lois Dale, known as”The First Lady of Barter” and former owner of New York Commerce Group has been an industry pioneer and the past president of the International Reciprocal Trade Association.

Ms. Dale should be proud of her contribution to the Barter industry. She has built an exchange that is one of the most
respected in the New York area. Barter Advantage, (isn’t that a GREAT NAME) will continue to grow because of it’s brokers treating members with respect. Yes i’m proud to say I’m member of Barter Advantage and I LOVE BARTER!
