Interactive Barter Website Looks To Patent Trading System

BarterQuest will be an interactive website for the cashless exchange of goods, services, and the use of real estate between consumers.

Tom Langel of TradeAway in Montana already has this kind of barter matching software and has had it for over 5 years that I am aware of. I don’t see how this will be capable of a patent with software available such as TradeAway.
This is just my opinion, for what it’s worth.

I do not know Patent Law. Would it be possible for availability of such software being on the market, but never having been Patented, for another to come along and do so?
