April 22nd, 2008 · by Bob Meyer · No Comments

Calgary dollars (CAD) are a local currency backed by the goods and services of Calgarians. The Canadian city is one of thousands around the world that has a local barter currency to aid the local citizens.

CAD is a project of the Arusha Centre–a membership organization organized around local and global social issues, social justice, self-determination, peace, human and ecological health. For more information on calgary dollars see: CAD
