Small Business Owners Optimism Dropping
September 29th, 2008 · by Bob Meyer · No CommentsHow are you feeling these days about the economy and the business outlook in the weeks and months ahead? The small business community is in a funk, and pessimism is at a five year high, according to the Wells Fargo Gallup Small Business Index.
80% of business owners feel the current economic conditions will affect their businesses.
Twenty-five percent believes we are in a severe recession already.
Thirty-theee percent don’t see a recovery until 2010.
Most have been through a previous economic downturn, eighty-five percent were in business in the 1990-91 downturn.
Use barter to increase cash flow and generate additional business.
