IRTA’s Executive Director, Ron Whitney, is proud of the many accomplishments IRTA made in 2008. (IRTA is the commercial barter industry’s trade association.)

And given today’s economic train wreck, Whitney says that 2009 should be a banner year for the barter business, and the some 800 trade exchanges worldwide, now found is some 35 countries.

IRTA will celebrate its 30th Anniversary this year and the annual convention is expected to be staged on the West Coast. As of today the site has yet to be determined. For more see:
