Cop out! You’re great Bob but I think a distinction needs to be made here between informal one-to-one barter deals and organized network bartering. In the latter yes it can be measured and the figure I have estimates it at approximately $8.25 billion. (IRTA) from 2004. The same report shows the average B.E.N. growing by about 5% yearly. Because of the economy I think it’s safe to assume that rate of growth has increased significantly in the last year or two.
